I recently checked out an audio book from the library titled, Effortless Healing, by Dr. Joseph Mercola. I have listened to approximately one-third of the material, and the information presented is quite interesting. The goal of the book is to share 9 Simple Ways to Sidestep Illness, Shed Excess Weight, and Help Your Body Fix Itself. I’m looking forward to listening to the remainder of the material. In fact, this is a book that could be listened to multiple times due to the wealth of information presented!
I have been on a quest to find a green juice recipe that tastes good and is nutritious.
After listening to Dr. Mercola’s presentation of the benefits of juicing, I finally went to the kitchen for some experimentation.
My green juice recipe is kid and husband approved, and it tastes absolutely delicious, not to mention all the wonderful nutrition packed in this glass of juice!
It is sure to give you a boost during the nice crisp mornings or as an afternoon pick-me-up!
Ingredients for Green Juice Recipe:
1 extra-large handful of spinach
1 c. pineapple or frozen pineapple
1 small banana (frozen or unfrozen)
1 c. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 Tbsp. pure, local honey
This green juice recipe makes one serving, so if you want to make enough for several people, you will need to double or triple the ingredients. Happy Sipping!
