Preparing for a road trip or a vacation takes a lot of planning and time, especially when children are along for the ride.
I usually spend extra time mentally thinking through everything, and in the end, I leave just hoping nothing was forgotten. My favorite saying is, “If we don’t have it now, we will buy it later!” …but let’s hope we have everything to avoid added expense!
When I packed for our last trip, I found myself making notes while I was in the midst of packing. For example, while I was in the kitchen packing items from that department, I had a little list going with paper and pen for all the random things that kept popping in my mind.
Hence, I decided to create a packing checklist to help for my next trip.
