Christmas is one of my favorite times of year! It is a blessed time to celebrate our Savior’s birth and rejoice in Hope amidst a troubled world.

Simple Christmas Cheer
Christmastime brings many exciting events to our lives… decorating, church Christmas programs and dinners, gift buying and receiving, music events and special performances, spending time with family and friends, extra cooking and baking, and viewing Christmas lights! These wonderful gifts are given to us by the good Lord to help us enjoy life and His blessings, but we must not forget the true Reason for Christmas. Jesus is the Reason for the Season, and it is His birth that we must celebrate most importantly!
We love Him, because He first loved us.

As you enjoy the blessings of the Christmas season, remember that those blessings are available to us because Jesus came to save sinners!
