I’m always ready for fall at the end of summer, and spring is a nice change from winter. We see God’s creative handiwork in the miracle of the changing seasons. I often don’t view the changing of the seasons as a miracle, but it truly is. This time of year provides great variety for the day-to-day and gives an opportunity for a fresh beginning. How wonderful are the Lord’s works!

Genesis 8:22

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Inside, my fall décor is up, and I have enjoyed watching the small changes outside… the changing of a leaf color here or there, the way the sun creates different shadows on the grass, and the tree branches blowing in the wind. Now just to find a cute little pumpkin or two for the outside porches…

Happy fall, y’all!
