Desserts are so fabulous, and sometimes they are difficult to bypass; however, when you are counting calories or trying to lower numbers, eating desserts sparingly is a good plan of action. And truthfully, we would all be better off if we ate fewer sweets, even when our health isn’t requiring it!
Here’s my suggestion for a delicious, simple treat that requires absolutely no cooking and a small amount of prep work!
- Peanut butter
Try to purchase peanut butter that is natural. I use peanut butter that has only two ingredients: peanuts and salt. Many brands of peanut butter have added oils, sugars, and a lot of other ingredients, so read the labels!
Peel your banana, scoop out a spoonful of peanut butter, and top with honey. To me, this is a guilt-free dessert! Try it out, and let me know what you think! Do you have a favorite sweet tooth remedy? List it in the comments!
